In 1918, the "ARMERIA" was established by Teiro, Enrico and Eugenio at TORRETTE, a hamlet 4 km far from Ancona. The Rossinis sold shot-guns and the famous hunting cartridges of their own production, such as"Frecca d'Oro", "Ardita", "Mille Miglia". Those cartridges were sold all over Italy.

Clay target-shooting had not developed yet, people generally shot living birds; pigeons, starlings, sparrows, etc. In the early twenties clay-pigeon shooting started spreading, so the Rossinis organized small clay-pigeon shooting competitions among local hunters; they used a clay pigeon thrower machine with manual loading and release. As the time passed a great number of people were interested in those competitions which became more frequent and were held in nearby villages. Many living pigeon-shooting clubs began to have clay-pigeon throwers in their shooting range in 1925, so clay pigeon shooting started spreading everywhere.

At the beginning the Rossinis sold italian clay-pigeons which were of a very poor quality, then they started selling clay-pigeon imported by Remmington which were of very good quality. In that way, the Rossinis became highly specialized in that range. American clay-pigeons were of excellent quality but they were very fragile as well and alot of them broke during the long journey from America and their cost was excessive, so the Rossinis had the idea to make their own clay-pigeons by recycling the broken peices of the American Remmingtons. The first machine, they used to produce those clay-pigeons, was an old soap press which made about 1500 peices a day.

Then they succeeded in founding raw materials of good quality so they could produce the best known clay-pigeons "SAETTA" which was used at the Olympic Games held in Rome in 1960.

In the same years owing to the great demand for clay-pigeons, Enrico and Eugenio Rossini created the first clay-pigeon thrower machine called "DIAVOLA ROSSA". It was a manual loading machine that at the same time loaded and moved the height and the angle of the throw; the release of the target operated off an ordinary car battery simply by pushing a button. This revolutionary machine started to be used by Shooting Clubs, hunting groups and common people. In almost 40 years four series of this model had been produced, but "Diavola Rossa" still remain a legend in the technology linked to clay-pigeon shooting.

Then it was the turn of "ROMA", the first clay-pigeon fixed position machine made for the Olympic and Universal trap followed by "ITALIA". (a lighter model more reliable than Roma) and lastly "DYNAMIC" which introduced compressed air piston loading, but it wasn't fully automatic.

In 1966, Enrico and Eugenio, thanks to Liano's (Enriques son) international experience, created the first fully automatic machine, that was named "MAXIMA 66" after Massimo (Liano's Son), who was born that year. It was the fear to introduce in the market a machine that could give problems due to the technical complexity for the period and the negitive experience of other competitiors to suggest the Rossini to set aside the project for many years.

At the end of the seventies the project was modified, improved and simplified, So it started the production of the new model"MAXI" until the end of 1997. In the meantime had been realized an other model of thrower machine simpler and less expensive, but reliable: the "SIMPLEX". This thrower since 1987 (sadly this year died Liano) allows to the actual firm to be successful all over the world.

Since 1997 had been introduced in the market a new automatic thrower machine:
the "MAXI Electric". This is an electric loading thrower machine. This model completes a range of thrower machines that can satisfy all the requirements of the Clubs and shooters that loves in an increasing degree this sport even thanks to the new shooting disiplines as SKEET, DOUBLE TRAP, and SPORTING CLAY for which are produced special thrower machines.
